About Our Manuals

We do not outsource any of our printing - it is done 100% in-house to ensure consistency. We have a network of color laser printers for the standard 8 1/2" x 11" bound pages, and 11" x17" pages used for schematics and board layouts. Larger schematics are printed on our network of HP 6 Ink color plotters.

All manuals are constructed as follows:

• Printed on 28lb high quality acid free paper that won't turn yellow with age
• Hi-Gloss 110lb card stock covers for a professional finish
• Oversize heavy plastic protective covers both front and back
• Comb bound (unless otherwise noted)
• 8 1/2" X 11" format (unless otherwise noted)
• Double-sided printing just like the originals
• Board layouts and schematic sizes will vary. Board layouts are typically printed on 11" X 17" sheets, schematics, voltage diagrams, and wiring diagrams can be as large as 11" X 36". The specific sizes and details will be listed in the manual information page.

Older manuals have been digitally edited, as much as possible, to clean up scan artifacts, imperfections, notes, writing, etc., and to straighten and center pages. You will not receive a manual that has crooked pages with black dots from the three-hole punch scan, or the four-sided black border.
